Q) My husband and I were thinking of taking a well deserved vacation this year and we are looking for any good all inclusive beach vacation spots to hang out  in Mexico this February.

I have started searching online, and it becomes overwhelming. Do you have any suggestions? We have airline miles, so we’re looking for an all-inclusive hotel (including meals and drinks) where we can enjoy the beach, relax and have fun. If you’ve been to Mexico and you have suggestions for some great beach vacation spots, I’d love to hear from you. Thanks!

A) My wife and I went to Playa Del Carmen and stayed at the RIU Palace. It was an all inclusive hotel (including meals and drinks).  The great part about our deal was that RIU is a chain hotel and they had 4 RIU hotels close to each other and if you stayed at one of them you would have access to the other 3 hotels.  You would have a wrist band for your hotel and you are allowed to have meals and drinks at the other hotels as well. It was definitely a great deal.

It was one of our best beach vacations that we’ve had before having children.  The rooms are clean and the people are really friendly. If all inclusive beach vacation spots is what you are after, I  would highly recommend you check into the RIU hotels.
